MMDCE Committee discloses why Ahadzie Joseph was recommended for nomination as a DCE [Leaked]

The Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executive Vetting Committee chaired by the Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Dan Kwaku Botwe has submitted its final report to the Office of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for approval and subsequent nomination.

The Dan Botwe led committee report submitted to the President who is the final determinant for consideration has featured three top personalities for the South Tongu District.

The leaked MMDCE Vetting Committee report intercepted by has shortlisted Mr. Ahadzie Wisdom Joseph – the South Tongu 2020 Parliamentary Candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Seth Kwasi Agbi – Former Party Treasurer and 2016 South Tongu Parliamentary Candidate of NPP and the incumbent District Chief Executive Mr. Emmanuel Louis Agamah.

The Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executive Vetting Committee has recommended Mr. Ahadzie Joseph for nomination as the South Tongu District Chief Executive in President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s second government.

According to the Vetting Committee, they recommended Mr. Ahadzie Joseph for nomination as DCE dues to his selfless commitment in transforming the party within the South Tongu District and beyond.

The committee again revealed that, Mr. Joseph Ahadzie showed in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of local political issues.

They added that, since 1992, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) votes for both Presidential and Parliamentary have never surpassed 4,000. But with the tireless
efforts of Mr. Ahadzie, the parliamentary votes moved from 3,595 to 10,272 in the 2020 General Elections.

Mr. Ahadzie Joseph was the parliamentary candidate for the party in the 2020
general elections.

He was the South Tongu District Manager for the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) from 2004 to 2014.

Mr. Ahadzie Joseph holds an MA in Business Administration from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and BSc in Tourism from the University of Cape Coast.

They Vetting Committee believes that, Mr. Ahadzie Joseph stands tall so far as party activism in the District is concerned hence, his recommendation for DCE position.
