The Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executive Vetting Committee Reports on shortlisted applicants has been leaked.

The report has shortlisted three successful applicants and one of which has been recommended to the office of the president for nomination and subsequent approval by the Assembly Members.

Though, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is yet to officially announce list of shortlisted applicants, the report has been leaked at their blind side.

Could it be that, the report was leaked to tie the president’s hands since it was rumored that he wants the current MMDCEs to be at post but NEC wants others?

According to the leaked reports, the following individuals have been reportedly recommended by the MMDCEs Vetting Committee to the office of the president.

1. Kpando Municipality – Mr. Dadasu Kodzo Geoffrey

2. North Dayi District – Mr. Edmund Attah Kufjoh

3. Afadzato South District – Mr. Etornam James Flolu

4. Hohoe Municipality – Mr. George Kofi Boateng

5. Akatsi North District – Mr. Ofosu Simon Peter Kofi

6. Akatsi South District – Mr. Martin Kotitsey Nyahe

7. Adaklu District – Mr. Bright Kwame Nyatsikor

8. Central Tongu District – Mr. Raymond Escambelle Abledu

9. South Dayi District – Mr. Kumfo Joy Delali

10. Ketu North Municipality – Mr. Enoch Amegbletor

11. Anlo District – Mr. Edward Kwadzo Eddah

DISTRICT SHORTLISTED APPLICANTS JUSTIFICATION
KPANDO MUNICIPALITY
  1. Geoffrey Kodzo Badasu
  2. Antoinette Oklu
  3. Eric Legacy Fiah

 

The committee recommends Mr. Badasu Kodzo Geoffrey for nomination as MCE.

He intends to make NPP more visible and attractive in the constituency. He was the Constituency Secretary from 2008 to 2016. He was also the Constituency Campaign Manager in the 2012 campaign.

He is currently the Acting Scheme Manager for NHIS in Kpando as well as the NHIS Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for the Volta Region.

He holds an MBA and a B.Ed. in population and Family Life, both from the University of Cape Coast.

NORTH DAYI DISTRICT
  1. Edmund Attah Kudjoh
  2. Daniel Kasu Komla
  3. Sena Aku Apawu-Bri
The committee recommends Mr. Edmund Attah Kudjoh for renomination as DCE. He is well-grounded in local politics. He relates well with executives, chiefs, and the youth. He has in-depth knowledge of local government and decentralization. He was the former constituency chairman.

He holds an MA in Development Studies and a BA in Classics and Philosophy both from the University of Cape Coast.

AFADZATO SOUTH DISTRICT
  1. James Etornam Flolu
  2. Delali Yawo Ndo
  3. Benjamin Kwaku Tefe
The committee recommends Mr. Etornam James Flolu for renomination as DCE.

He has good communication skills which he used in unifying the constituency. He has a very good rapport with his constituents. He is the incumbent who has done well for the party and the district as DCE.

He holds BA in Political Science and Information Studies from the University of Ghana.

HOHOE MUNICIPALITY
  1. George Kofi Boateng
  2. Kenneth Kodzo Ayim
  3. Noble Daniel Awimey
The committee recommends Mr. George Kofi Boateng for nomination as MCE.

Mr. George Kofi Boateng has a strong relationship with the party grassroots. He has held positions such as PC for Hohoe in the 2000 general elections, Regional Secretary from 2009 to 2014, Director of Research for the 2008 Campaign Team, and a member of the 2020 Election Campaign Team. The current DCE cannot be retained because of the SALL issue.

He holds BA in Social Science from KNUST.

AKATSI NORTH DISTRICT
  1. Ofosu Simon Peter Kofi
  2. Prosper Patu Kofi
  3. Paul Agbesi Ayrah
The committee recommends Mr. Ofosu Simon Peter Kofi for nomination as DCE.

Mr. Kofi Simon Peter was the immediate past PC. He performed well for the party and given the opportunity; he would contribute to the fortunes of the party.

He has an M.Phil. in Development Studies from the University of Cape Coast, MA in Humanities, and BA in Psychology from UCC.

AKATSI SOUTH DISTRICT
  1. Martin Kofitsey Nyahe
  2. Felix-Ham Kwashie Nugor
  3. Leo – Nelson Adzidogah
The committee recommends Mr. Martin Kotitsey Nyahe for nomination as DCE. Mr. Martin Kotitsey Nyahe is a very good mobilizer. He is also the former constituency chairman. He is a grassroots man who commands the respect of community leaders and the larger constituency.

 

He holds a GCE Advanced Level from St. Paul Secondary School.

ADAKLU DISTRICT
  1. Bright Kwame Nyatsikor
  2. Juliana Kpedekpo
  3. Aaron Feron Fenuku
The committee recommends Mr. Bright Kwame Nyatsikor for nomination as DCE. He has an impressive understanding of the local political and development issues. He exhibited a potential to improve the party’s gain in the district.

The current DCE failed to provide accurate information on the number of polling stations in the constituency and other vital information on the 2020 elections. It was clear he never participated in the elections.

He is pursuing an MA in Development Communication at the Ghana Institute Journalism and BSc. in Agric Engineering from KNUST.

CENTRAL TONGU DISTRICT
  1. Raymond Escambellar Abledu
  2. Ebenezer Kwadzo Azumah
  3. Moore Zonyrah
The committee recommends Mr. Raymond Escambella Abledu for nomination as DCE.

Mr. Raymond Abledu was the immediate 2020 PC for the constituency. He significantly improved the votes of the party in the last elections. He is determined to improve the fortunes of the party. He is conversant with the district/constituency and relates well with the chiefs, the youth, and the constituency executives.

He holds an MBA from the Australia Institute of Business and a BA in Psychology and Linguistics from the University of Ghana.

SOUTH DAYI DISTRICT
  1. Kumfo Joy Delali
  2. Godwin Dzadzawa Kwame
  3. Ernest Patrick Mallet
The committee recommends Mr. Kumfo Joy Delali for nomination DCE.

He is a very enthusiastic person who can be nurtured as a future PC. He enjoys widespread support among the youth, party executives, and opinion leaders. He has shown commitment and ability to improve the fortunes of the government and party in the district/constituency.

He was a TESCON President and a current Treasurer and communications team member of the South Dayi Constituency. He holds a BSc in Computer Science, from UDS.

KETU NORTH MUNICIPALITY
  1. Enoch Amegbletor
  2. Gabriel Kwasi Awudu
  3. Anthony Avorgbedor
The committee recommends Mr. Enoch Amegbletor for nomination as DCE. He is very articulate and dynamic. He presented an impressive vision for the district.  He is a former Regional Communication Officer as well as Deputy Youth Organizer for the party.

He holds an LLB and MA in Communication from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

ANLO DISTRICT
  1. Edward Kwadzo Eddah
  2. Adranyi Joseph Kujo
  3. Seth Kwashie Yormewu
The committee recommends Mr. Edward Kwadzo Eddah for nomination as DCE.

Mr. Edward Edda was the PC for the party in 2016. He is eloquent and communicates government policies well. Mr. Edward Edda is the comprised candidate between the current DCE and the constituency executives. He is in good standing relates well with the party grassroots in the constituency. The current DCE is embroiled in an ongoing EOCO case.

Mr. Edward Edda was the first vice Chairman of the then Keta constituency from 2000 to 2004.

 

He holds an MA in Public Administration from the University of Ghana; a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from GIMPA; and a BA in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Ghana.

KETU SOUTH MUNICIPALITY
  1. Elliot Edem Agbenorwu
  2. Maxwell Koffie Lugudor
  3. Jarvis Koffie
The committee recommends Mr. Elliot Edem Agbenorwu for nomination as MCE. Mr. Edem Agbenorwu worked effectively in the last elections for the percentage of the party to increase. Per his interaction with the committee, he can become the PC, for the party in the next elections.

He is a Communication Team Member. He was the constituency Assistant Secretary from 2009 to 2013. He holds an MBA from KNUST and BA in Economics from the University of Cape Coast.

KETA MUNICIPALITY
  1. Benjamin Sena Dzameshie
  2. Courage Hope Goldberg-Grimm Lekettey
The committee recommends Mr. Benjamin Sene Dzameshie for nomination as DCE.

He is the immediate past PC of the party who did very well for the party. He is a medical officer who used his profession to help the party increase its votes in the 2020 general elections. He can also be a good candidate for the party in the 2024 general elections.

He is a founding member of TESCON at the Nursing & Midwifery Training College in Keta. He holds MPhil. Applied Epidemiology, University of Health and Allied Science; MBBS/MD, Crimea State Medical University (Russia).

AGORTIME ZIOPE DISTRICT
  1. Perry Kwashie Nuwordu
  2. Harrison Loveson Komla Dzreke
  3. Stephen Adjah
The committee recommends Mr. Perry Kwashie Nuwordu for nomination as DCE.

He is a long-standing member of the party who is known in the constituency. He worked very well for the party in the 2020 elections. He relates well with all the stakeholders in the party in the constituency. He appears to have a workable plan to improve opportunities for growth in the district.

He holds a Post Graduate LLB from GIMPA and BSc. in Administration from the University of Cape Coast.

HO WEST 
  1. Ernest Victor Apau
  2. Bernard Kwaku Torwoe Setsoafia
  3. Eric Nick Yao Gonyuie
The committee recommends Mr. Ernest Victor Apau for renomination as DCE.

He is well versed in the administrative procedures of local governance. He knows the district/ constituency dynamics well. He campaigned well for the party in the 2020 general elections.

He was Constituency Chairman for Ho West from 2015-2017. A Member of the Regional Communication Team from 2008 to date.  He was a former Youth Organizer for Ho West from 2002 to 2005.

He holds an MA in Public Administration and a BSc. in Business Administration from the University of Ghana.

HO MUNICIPALITY
  1. Bright Kwame Sedoame Doh
  2. Divine Richard Komla Bosson
  3. Samuel Attachie-Anku
The committee recommends Mr. Bright Kwame Sedoame Doh for nomination as MCE.

He was eloquent on local governance issues and possess a working knowledge of the constituency Tripod. He contributed appreciably to the 2020 general election campaign. He relates well with the constituents especially, constituency executives and chiefs.

He is the current Secretary of the constituency and former government Appointee to the Ho Municipal Assembly from 2017 to 2019.

He holds MSc in Project Management, BSc in Construction Technology from KNUST.

NORTH TONGU
  1. Shabanton Moses Kwesi Dutsrogbe
  2. Divine Osborn Fenu Kwadzo
  3. Richard Collins Arku
The committee recommends Shabanton Moses Kwesi Dutsrogbe for nomination as DCE.

He is a good organizer and has a demonstrable track record of mobilizing the constituency to advance the party’s goals. He has good interpersonal and communication skills. He has since 2018, been part of a team that periodically trains NABCO trainees and also served as a presiding officer in the 2008 and 2012 general elections.

He has served the party in the following roles: current regional research and elections officer, constituency secretary, and TESCON president.

Mr. Dutsrogbe holds a BA in Communication Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

SOUTH TONGU
  1. Ahadzie Joseph
  2. Seth Kwasi Agbi
  3. Emmanuel Louis Agama
The committee recommends Mr. Ahadzie Joseph for nomination as DCE.

Mr. Joseph Ahadzie showed in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of local political issues. Since 1992, the NPP votes for both Presidential and Parliamentary have never surpassed 4,000. But with the tireless efforts of Mr. Ahadzie, the parliamentary votes moved from 3,595 to 10,272.

Mr. Ahadzie was the parliamentary candidate for the party in the 2020 general elections. He was the district manager for NHIA in South Tongu from 2004 to 2014.

Mr. Ahadzie holds an MA in Business Administration from KNUST and BSc in Tourism from the University of Cape Coast.
