The Coalition of Backlog of Trained Teachers (CBTT) has expressed its deep appreciation to the Director General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Dr. Eric Nkansah, for the recent recruitment of trained teachers who completed colleges of education from 2016-2020.

The CBTT had earlier petitioned the GES, and the Director-General had promised to take action. True to his word, the majority of these teachers have now been successfully posted. In a press release, the CBTT described Dr. Eric Nsiah as a responsive leader who is committed to bringing relief to his people.

However, the group also appealed to the Director-General to expedite the posting of all trained teachers who are still awaiting placement. They emphasized the urgency of this issue and expressed hope that the Director-General will continue to work towards ensuring that all qualified teachers are posted in the shortest possible time.

The CBTT also commended the efforts of the GES and the government of Ghana in improving the education sector and addressing the needs of teachers. They reiterated their commitment to working collaboratively with the GES to ensure that all qualified teachers are posted and that the backlog issue is fully resolved.
