Contract of some of the workers at the National Cathedral have been terminated due to lack of payment from the National Cathedral Secretariat of Ghana.

According to a letter, dated March 14, 2022 and signed by Grant Ramsay (Project Manager – RIBADE), the termination was in compliance to the contract agreement between the company and the National Cathedral Secretariat.

The RIBADE Company is in charge of building the National Cathedral for the country.

Earlier, there were leaked documents, indicating the payment of some amounts from the coffers of the country as seed money for the construction of the Cathedral project Promised by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Ghanaians have however, shown their displeasure, arguing that they were promised the Cathedral won’t be built with state funds.
