Cost of living will bite hard at the poor – Kobby Fabian

Mr. Kobby Fabian has indicated that, cost of living would bite hard at the poor, after the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) was reported to have proposed a 148% increase in tariff.

Mr. Fabian, who is the founder of Youth Leadership Parliament (YLP) made this known in a Facebook post, where he indicated that, the managers of our economy have been frugal and irresponsible.

According to him, the managers of the economy gave out free electricity, hoping the cost of it could be wished away.

President Nana Akufo-Addo, gave free electricity and water to Ghanaians during the epic of the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, ECG has been reported to proposed a 148% increase in electricity tariff, despite the economic hardship facing the country.

Mr. Fabian further indicated that, he is yet to see anything free in economics and accounting and added that, when you sow the wind, you reap the whirlwind.
