There is a good news for Ghana while its Coronavirus pandemic recovery cases has risen from 674 to 1,460 in the late hours of Friday, 15th May, 2020.
Aside the large number of Coronavirus recovery cases, Ghana has also recorded another one hundred and eight (108) confirmed positive cases making the total cases rose from 5,530 to 5,638.
In reference to the new Ghana Health Service update, the latest 108 positive cases recorded has the following breakdown; 44 cases from Accra, 26 from Western Region, 16 from Central Region, 12 from the Northern Region, and 10 in the Ashanti Region.
According to the Ghana Health Service data, four (4) Coronavirus positive patients have been confirmed dead making the death rate rose from 24 to 28.
The Ghana Health Service statistics also outlined a Regional breakdown of the entire Coronavirus cases in the country. Below is the data as presented.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Information Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has announced that, the Republic of Ghana is making progress in Coronavirus pandemic recoveries. According to him, some large numbers of COVID-19 recoveries are coming in.
The Information Minister who announced the news on his official social media handles on Friday, 15th May, 2020 has notes that, the Ghana Health Service will, in no time announce a good number of Coronavirus patients who have successfully recovered.
He added that, the fact that we are expecting good number of recoveries does not mean Ghanaians and government should let down their guard and live without care. He reiterated that, everyone must continue to observe the precautionary measures as outlined by World Health Organization, Ministry of Health and the Ghana Health Service to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.
“We are making progress. Some good recovery numbers are coming in. Ghana Health Service should be announcing soon. Doesn’t mean we can let down our guard and live without care. Let’s keep observing the preventive etiquette.” He explained.
