The Minister of Information Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has announced that, the Republic of Ghana is making progress in Coronavirus pandemic recoveries. According to him, some large numbers of COVID-19 recoveries are coming in.
The Information Minister who announced the news on his official social media handles on Friday, 15th May, 2020 has notes that, the Ghana Health Service will, in no time announce a good number of Coronavirus patients who have successfully recovered.
He added that, the fact that we are expecting good number of recoveries does not mean Ghanaians and government should let down their guard and live without care. He reiterated that, everyone must continue to observe the precautionary measures as outlined by World Health Organization, Ministry of Health and the Ghana Health Service to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.
“We are making progress. Some good recovery numbers are coming in. Ghana Health Service should be announcing soon. Doesn’t mean we can let down our guard and live without care. Let’s keep observing the preventive etiquette.” He explained.
Meanwhile, Ghana as at Friday, 15th May, 2020 has recorded a total of five thousand, five hundred and thirty (5,530) Coronavirus cases with six hundred and seventy-four (674) recoveries and twenty-four (24) deaths.
