Sammul Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for the North Tongu Constituency has stormed the Children’s Ward of the Battor Catholic Hospital to pay medical bills of children receiving medical care after winning December 2020 Parliamentary election.
Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa, who won the December 2020 Parliamentary election took the step to settle medical bills of every children as a “thank you” offering for his victory.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has Won the North Tongu Parliamentary Seat again by 89.67%
According to the North Tongu Lawmaker, the payment of medical bills for children is his thanksgiving offering in honour of his most cherished constituents who retained him for the third time to represent them in Parliament.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa did this soon after he was declared the winner of the North Tongu Parliamentary election by the Electoral Commission’s Returning Officer Sammy Olando Bansah.
He won the North Tongu Parliamentary Seat with a total valid votes of 39,294 representing 89.67% against his immediate contender Richard Collins Arku of New Patriotic Party who obtained a total valid votes of 4,086 representing 9.32% while the Ghana Union Movement (GUM) Parliamentary candidate obtained a valid votes of 442 that represent 1.01%.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa also secured a total of 38,931 valid votes for the NDC’s Presidential Candidate Mr. John Dramani Mahama in the Presidential election representing representing 90.2%.
