DISCLAIMER: I don’t go around looking for people to support – Alban Bagbin

The Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament  Hon. Alban S.K. Bagbin has issued a disclaimer directing people to disregard activities of cyber fraudsters who are using his name to lure them.

According to him, his attention has been drawn to some fraudulent activities by fraudsters using his office to dupe innocent individuals in the name of offering jobs to them.

The Member of Parliament for the Nadowli/Kaleo Constituency has noted that, his office does not offer assistance or help to people on condition that they pay facilitation fees. In addition, he said, he never use his Facebook account to send requests to people to accept for support.

He therefore advised the general public to be careful of the activities of cyber fraudsters on social media. Alban Bagbin also called on the public to assist report fraudsters to the law enforcement agencies to arrest  them.

“Please be informed that I do not go around looking for people to help on social media neither do I accept any money or gift before helping people who come to my office seeking various kinds of assistance.” He explained.
