Dr. Bawumia must Apologize to Ghanaians for lying during Govt’s recent town hall meeting in Accra

The National Communications Officer for the opposition National Democratic Congress, Sammy Gyamfi has called on the vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to apologize to Ghanaians for lying.

It could be recalled that the vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia at a town hall meeting where he outlined some eighteen thousand ( 17,000 ) projects that the President Nana Akufo led Government have undertaken since they came to office.

However, after Dr. Bawumia outlined the achievements and projects undertaken by the Government, Sammy Gyamfi who is the Communications Officer for the NDC indicated that twenty six (26) of the projects put out by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia does not exist.

Reacting to Sammy Gyamfi’s comments, the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia also indicated that, even if the 26 projects put out by Sammy Gyamfi does not exist, their achievements are still unpresidented.

After Dr. Bawumia’s comments, Sammy Gyamfi has called on the Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to apologize to the country for lying about the 26 non-existing projects during the government’s recent town hall meeting in Accra.

In a tweet, Sammy Gyamfi said;

Okay so now that Dr. Bawumia has publicly admitted that he told Ghanaians 26 lies during government’s recent town hall meeting in Accra, can he do the needful and apologize for misleading the nation for the sake of the integrity of the high office he occupies?#BawumiaLied
