Dr. Bawumia reacts to Charles Adu Boahen over Anas’ Galamsey Economic Expose’

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has reacted to the Minister of State for Finance Charles Adu Boahen over Tiger Eye P.I (Anas Aremeyaw Anas) Galamsey Economic Expose’

In a statement, the Vice President noted that his attention has been drawn to a video by Anas Aremeyaw Anas (as posted on his social media handle) showing the Minister of State for Finance, Mr. Charles Adu Boahen, apparently using his name, inter alia, to peddle influence and collect money from supposed investors.

Dr. Bawumia state categorically that, if what the Minister of State for Finance, Mr. Charles Adu Boahen is alleged to have said is accurately captured in the video, then his position as a minister of state is untenable.

According to the Vice President, Mr. Charles Adu Boahen should be dismissed summarily and investigated.

He further explained that, he is not aware of any such meeting held by Minister Charles Adu Boahen or a supposed “appearance fee”.

Dr. Bawumia noted that his most cherished asset in life is his integrity and he will not allow anyone to use his name to engage in corrupt activities.
