The Minister for Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has performed the groundbreaking (sod-cutting) ceremony for the construction of a Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Senior High School in the Sawua community, Bosumtwe District, Ashanti Region.
Hon. Adutwum stated that the building of the School formed part of the agenda of the government of His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to leverage on Science and Technology for socio-economic transformation of the country.

He noted that Sod will be cut for other Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Senior High School in other communities in the country soon.

According to the Minister, the building when completed will be a 21st century Senior High School for STEM education and improve access to quality education.
