The Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) of the Evangelical Presbyterian University College (EPUC) in Ho in the Volta Region of Ghana has constructed an ultramodern scenic shed for students.
According to the leadership of TEIN, they have purposely constructed the shed in responding to the plight of students of E.P University Campus, Ho, following their difficulty in finding a conducive environment to do group discussions, assignments and other academic activities outside lecture halls.
Coverghana.com.gh in an interview with the EPUC-TEIN President Mr. Godson Agbemakplido revealed that, the project which was completed by his administration, the 2019/2020 year batch of the institution commenced during the 2014/2015 administration.
He categorically said, the structure was initiated by EPUC-TEIN 2014/2015 administration under the good leadership of lady president Bless Onyehe and built by Eric Nunekpeku 2015/2016 and by dent of hard work, EPUC-TEIN 2019/2020 has completed and made it ready for students’ use.
The President also told Coverghana.com.gh news team that, the University Management, lecturers, students and everyone in the university were very pleased and excited with the project. According to him, the university populace were happy for the positive initiate of TEIN in attending to a dire needs of the university students.
Mr. Godson Agbemakplido has noted that the Evangelical Presbyterian University College is one the newly established institutions in the Volta Region that faces numerous infrastructure challenges. The University is still at its state of development to meet the needs of students and lecturers, hence the decision of TEIN executives to build the shed.
In handing over the project to the institution for students use, “the executives therefore take the opportunity to advice the student populace to always keep the place neat and tidy and post no bill on any part of the structure when school activities return to normal after the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
The president of TEIN- EPUC Mr. Godson Agbemakplido entreated all TEIN members of the University to constantly pay their monthly dues to support the upcoming infrastructural projects of TEIN. ” l hereby call on all TEIN members of the institution to always pay their monthly dues since more of these projects are in the incubation period of hatching.” He appealed.
In conclusion, the president thanked all his executives and TEIN membership for their support towards the completion of the scenic shed on campus. “Ayekoo to all EPUC-Tein 2019/2020 executives and members. YOU ARE MY LIFE BLOOD!! It is through your selfless dedication, commitment and effort that we are realising our goals.” He praised.
