Fire has gutted Comedian AY’s mansion in Lekki, destroying properties worth millions of Naira.
News broke out on Sunday, the 6th of August 2023 that, a fire had destroyed the properties of one of the talented comedians in Nigeria, AY Makun who is widely known as AY Comedian. In a viral video circulating online, the able workers of the Lagos State Fire Service tried to put off the fire as quickly as they could.
The video which was filmed by someone who claimed to be the neighbour of the comedian, was shared on social media.
Though the cause of the fire outbreak is yet to be known, the comedian, who appeared to be in Alberta, Canada, took to his Instagram page to indicate he and his family were safe. He added that his wife and children were on vacation in the United States and he could not wait to join them soon.
“Family and God. That is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in a few days”
The misfortune that happened has however alerted all his colleagues and fans in the entertainment space and the world at large, as they pour out their support for the celebrated comedian.
