As it has become a ritual in the country, many cities in the country get flooded every raining season.
One of the cities in the country that has been in the news after getting flooded heavily is the Capital city of the Ashanti Region, Kumasi.
Following the floods, a popular Kumasi-pro Facebook page called Meye Asanteni has revealed that the people of Kumasi are reaping the seed they sowed 10 years ago.
According to the report, the people of Kumasi are reaping the seed we sowed a decade ago because of siting of unauthorized structures, sale of waterways, filth among others.
In a post, the page said; “Floods in Kumasi: We are reaping the seed we sowed a decade ago: unauthorized structures, filth, sale of waterways, sale of portions of Subin, diversion of the subin, containers everywhere, indiscipline etc.
We are reaping what you sowed.”
