Funeral Arrangements for Papavi Hogbedetor, Leader of Separatist Movement, Western Togoland

After about 11 months of making arrangements and preparation after his demise, the leader of the Volta separatist group, the Homeland Study Group Foundation (HSGF), Mr Charles Komi Kudzodzi, who was popularly known as Papavi Hogbedetor, goes home on a set date.

Mr Kudzordzi was a retired teacher who despite walking with the aid of a stick due to old age, was a staunch leader of the separatist group in the Volta Region. Papavi Hogbedetor was up until his time of death seeking to have the Volta region and some other parts of the country which he referred to as the Western Togoland declared an independent state from Ghana.

Papavi Hogbedetor, Leader of separatist movement, Western Togoland, whose death occurred at the St Paul’s hospital after a brief ailment in October 2021 will be laid to rest as scheduled below;
