Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Council has disclosed that, the Western North Region will disassociate itself from participating in TV3’s Ghana Most Beautiful (GMB) pageantry over Afrah’s eviction.
The eviction of the Western North contestant, Afrah, from the ongoing 2022 edition of the Ghana’s Most Beautiful Pageantry aired on TV3 has caused a stir among Ghanaians especially the people from the Western North region as they feel it’s quite undeserved.
In a post on Facebook this morning, the Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Council in the Western North region have expressed their displeasure towards the happenings.
According to the Traditional Council, their candidate was 4th on the voting list and performed exceptionally well last night. It is therefore difficult for them to fathom why she had to be evicted.
The post read “ Western North will communicate to management of TV3 to disassociate ourselves from ever participating in the GMB program and all other programs by TV3 for the total cheat and blackmail of our candidate Afrah. Afrah was 4th on the Voting list, has won best performance for two occasions and best costume for 1 occasion, she has never come up on eviction and was described as the best performance on the day of her eviction so what exactly did they base their assessment on for the eviction?”
They further went on to congratulate Afrah for making the region proud.
