Gabriel Veiga Novas is a Spanish professional footballer who currently plays for Celta Vigo in La Liga. Veiga grew up in O Porrio, Pontevedra, Galicia, and attended RC Celta de Vigo.
On August 25, 2019, at the age of 17, he made his senior debut with the reserves, starting in a 2-2 Segunda División B away tie against Internacional de Madrid.
Veiga scored his debut goal on December 1, 2019, in a 1-6 loss against CD Atlético Baleares. On 19 September of the following year, he made his first team – and La Liga – debut, coming on as a late substitute for Renato Tapia in a 2-1 home win over Valencia CF.
Veiga scored his first professional goal on September 10, 2022, however, it came in a 4-1 loss away to Atlético Madrid. On January 11, the following year, he was promoted to the main squad and given the number 24 jersey.
