Madam Jean Mensa led Electoral Commission of Ghana says, the Gazetted Parliamentary election results in circulation are fake and, it’s a calculated attempt, mischievously planned to discredit the Commission.
In a press statement, the Electoral Commission noted that, their attention has been drawn to a document being mischievously shared on social media purporting to be the Gazetted results of the 2020 Parliamentary Elections. The document is not authentic and should be disregarded.
The Commission further said, the Gazetted results of the 2020 Parliamentary Elections can be purchased at the Assembly Press.
The Electoral Commission is therefore calling on the general public not to place any premium on the document circulating on social media since it is false. This is calculated to mislead the public and discredit the Commission.
