It could be recalled that the minister of Communications wrote a letter to the Ghana Broadcasting cooperation to reduce the number of National Digital terrestrial Television networks they operate from six (6) to three (3) channels.
BELOW IS THE LETTER FROM THE MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATIONS TO GBC
In response to the letter from the ministry of Communications, the management of the Ghana Broadcasting Cooperation, GBC also wrote a letter to the ministry in which the state broadcaster indicated that, it is unable to respond to the request of the Hon. Minister of Communication.

The management of GBC also added that, It has communicated the directive from the ministry of Communications to the National Media Commission for urgent intervention on behalf of GBC to help save the State Broadcaster from the consequences of having to operate
with only 3 channels.
