The Volta Regional Education Directorate of Ghana Education Service (GES) has declared vacancies for recruitment of persons into certain position at the Regional level.
In a statement issued by the Volta Regional Director of GES, Enyonam Afi Amafuga (Ms.), applications are invited from qualified service personnel on a minimum grade of Assistant Director II and above for consideration to be appointed at the Volta Regional Education Office as the following Officers:
1. Regional 1CT Coordinator
2. Regional Guidance and Counseling Coordinator
3. Regional Physical Education (P.E) Coordinator

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR REGIONAL ICT COORDINATOR
Applicant must be:
1. A Graduate Professional Teacher with an experience in school administration and should be able to serve for at least four (4) years before retirement (A Second Degree
is an added advantage).
2. Must be on the grade of Assistant Director II for a minimum of two years or above.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR REGIONAL ICT COORDINATOR
Applicant must have held any one or a combination of the following positions:
1. Regional/Municipal/District ICT/STMIE Coordinator for a minimum of three (3) years.
2. Municipal/District Education Officer for a minimum of four (4) years with a sound ICT background.
3. Assistant Headmaster of a Second Cycle Institution for a minimum of three (3)
years with a sound 1CT background.
4. ICT Teacher for a minimum of five (5) years with a sound ICT background.

Applicant must possess the following qualifications:
1. A Graduate Professional Teacher with an experience in school administration and should be able to serve for at least four (4) years before retirement (A relevant Second Degree is an added advantage).
2. Must have worked as a District/School Guidance and Counsellor/Assistant Head of Second Cycle institution/Senior Housemaster/Senior Housemistress/ School Chaplain for a minimum of four (4) years.
3. Must have a proven record of trustworthiness and a team player.
4. Must have good communication and report writing Skills.
5. Must be computer literate.

REQUIRED AND DESIRED QUALIFICATION FOR REGIONAL PHYSICAL EDUCATION COORDINATOR
Applicant must possess the following qualitications:
1. A Graduate Professional Teacher with an experience in school administration and should be able to serve for at least four (4) years before retirement (A relevant Second Degree is an added advantage).
2. Must at least be on the grade of Assistant Director I for a minimum of two years.
3. Must have worked as a District/School Physical Education Coordinator/Assistant Head of Second Cycle Institution/ Senior
Housemaster/Senior Housemistress for a minimum of tour (4) years.
4. Must have a proven record of trustworthiness and a team player.
5. Must have a good communication and report writing Skills.
6. Must be computer literate.
Mandate of Ghana Education Service (GES)
ALL APPLICANTS MUST TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING
In addition to the above, the applicant should have a very satisfactory work history and conduct wIthin the Ghana Education Service.
Applicants should fill four (4) copies of Application Forms (Available at all Municipal/District Education Offices – Volta Region).
Completed application forms must be accompanied by a Confidential Report and Appraisal Forms from Municipal/District Directors and/or Heads of Institutions and completely filled Personal Record Forms.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION
All completed application forms should reach the Regional Director not later than Tuesday 14 June, 2022
Municipal/District Directors are to notify all eligible officers/teachers within their jurisdiction promptly to enable them meet the deadline.
Meanwhile, the Regional Director said, this advert is limited to officers/teachers in the Volta Region only.
