GES declares vacancy for Heads of Basic Schools in Eastern Region

Ghana Education Service (GES) has declared vacancy for Heads of Basic Schools in the Eastern Region, Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality.

This announcement was signed by Mr. Samuel Otopah Ntow, Municipal Director of Education Nsawam Adoagyiri.

The municipality is inviting applications from suitably qualified serving officers for appointment as Head of Basic School and subsequent postings.

Qualification and Experience

Interested applicants must satisfy the following:

1. Be a graduate professional teacher on the rank of Assistant Director I or above
2. Should have a minimum qualification of first-degree
3. A second degree in the relevant field will be an added advantage
4. Be a Computer literate.
5. Should have good communication skills, both oral and written
6. Should have a satisfactory work history in the Ghana Education Service

Needed Documents for application

Interested applicants should submit four (4) copies each of the following:

1. A filled application form obtained from the Municipal Education Office (Nsawam) Completed Appraisal forms duly endorsed by the applicant’s Head of Institution
2. Academic and professional certificates
3. Passport size photographs
4. Filled personal record forms duly signed by immediate supervisor
5. Confidential report from immediate supervisor

Application Deadline

All application forms and relevant documents should reach the Municipal Director of Education, Nsawam on or before 16 February, 2024.
