GES Inter District Reposting 

Ghana Education Service (GES) has commenced processes of Inter District Reposting for 2022/2023 Academic Year across the country.

For smooth and effective processes, Management of GES has outlined five key procedures/steps to assist applicants seeking for the reposting.

GES has also outlined important documents every applicant must attach to the application letter for reposting.

Below are the steps for the Inter District Reposting for 2022/2023 Academic Year

How to apply for Inter District Reposting for 2022/2023 Academic Year

STEP 1

An Applicant seeks for an Assurance letter from a preferred District within the Region where vacancies exist.

STEP 2

The receiving District Director declares objection or otherwise, by issuing an assurance letter to the applicant.

STEP 3

After securing the assurance letter, the applicant applies for Reposting from his/her current District. The District Director writes a covering letter, indicating his/her consent.

Documents required for GES Reposting 

The applicant must attach all necessary documents (Eg. Current Payslip, Assurance Letter, Certificates, Bank Clearance, etc).

The District Director forwards the applicant’s documents to the Regional Education Office.

STEP 4

The Regional Director gives final approval.

STEP 5

After the final approval is given, the current District Director then releases the applicant to complete the reposting process

Note: A teacher seeking Inter District reposting can only be released by their current District after the Regional Director has given the final approval.

Issuance of Assurance letters for GES Reposting

According to GES, Issuance of Assurance letters would begin from 11th August, 2022 to 30th September, 2022.

Processing of applications for GES reposting

The processing of applications to the Headquarters will also begin in September 2022 and take effect from the beginning of the next academic year (January 2023).
