GES postpones Basic Schools vacation and reopening dates and NST for Primary 4
Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) has postponed the vacation and reopening dates for Basic Schools across the country.
The new development was accepted at a meeting scheduled by the Director of Schools and Instruction which was attended by the Regional Directors and Management of Ghana Education Service (GES).

New Vacation Date for Basic Schools
According to the Ghana Education Service, the third term vacation date for Basic Schools has been shifted from Thursday, 15th December, 2022 to Friday, 16th December, 2022.
Earlier, it was announced that Basic Schools will go on vacation on Thursday, 15th December, 2022.
National Standardised Test for Primary 4 pupils
Management of the Ghana Education Service has announced that, the date for the conduct of the National Standardized Test (NST) for Basic 4 pupils has also been shifted to Friday, 16th December, 2022. Initially, the the National Standardized Test was scheduled for 15th December, 2022.

First Term Reopening for Basic Schools 2023.
GES has also revised the first term reopening date for 2022/2023 academic year for Basic Schools. The next academic year reopening date has also been changed from 9th January, 2023 to 10th January, 2023.
