GES Recruitment concern: A trained teacher in the state of dilemma questions GES

Mr. Andy Dagadu, a trained teacher from Akatsi College of Education (AKATSICO) is in a state of dilemma about the 2024 GES Recruitment.

Mr. Dagadu is one of the pioneers of the B.Ed programme introduced in Colleges of Education (CoE) in 2018 which produced the first batch of B.Ed graduates from the 46 accredited CoE in 2022.

Writing to GES in the state of dilemma, he asked questions and disclosed the next path he will leverage to secure his life since government is acting unconcerned when the topic of GES Recruitment is raised.

Graduates both from the University and the 46 accredited College of Education in the country completed their National Service in 2023 and waiting for GES Posting. However, the is the 4th month of the yet government and GES have publicised the cause(s) of the delay in for the recruitment.

Addressing the much eating-up challenge “teacher graduates” are facing, a concerned Mr. Andy Dagadu has opened up to send a letter to GES on the topic at hand.

The letter writes

Dear GES,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to inquire about my employment status with the Ghana Education Service (GES) following my completion of the College of Education in 2022.

As an aspiring educator, I have eagerly awaited the opportunity to contribute my skills and knowledge to the GES. However, despite my qualifications and readiness to serve, I’m yet to receive any indication of employment from your esteemed organization.

Understanding the current demands and constraints within the education sector, I seek clarification on whether there are any pending decisions regarding my employment status with the GES. If there are no immediate prospects for employment, I would appreciate your timely communication regarding this matter.

While teaching has been my primary career aspiration, I have also developed significant experience as a writer over the past four years, particularly through my work with Google AdSense.
