GFA announces Venue & Date for Black Stars match against Madagascar for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier

The Ghana Football Association has announced the venue for the Black Stars’ 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar.

Ghana will open their campaign on Friday, November 17, 2023, at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The Black Stars will aim to kickstart the World Cup qualifying campaign on a good note in their quest for another appearance in the World Cup, having made it to the last edition in Qatar in 2022.

In their previous encounter, Ghana beat Madagascar 3-0 in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Cape Coast Stadium in June 2022, and they are looking forward to another victory over the East Africans.

Mohammed Kudus, Felix Afena Gyan, and Osman Bukari netted for Ghana in the 3-0 win.
