The Director of the GFA Foundation Malcolm Frazier Appeadu, paid a visit to the former Black Satellites and Black Meteors goalkeeper, William Essu, who is currently facing health challenges.

The purpose of the visit was not only to check on Essu’s well-being but also to extend wishes for his swift recovery.

Also, as part of the visit the Director presented Essu with a substantial donation of GH¢10,000.00 in cash.

The Association has also stated that both former and current players who playing for the various clubs should voice out when they are in difficulties.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has always been committed to the welfare of its footballers, both on and off the field.

The establishment of the GFA Foundation further solidifies this commitment, as it aims to provide assistance and support to former players who may face adversities, ensuring that they are not forgotten.

The funds donated by Frazier Appeadu will not only assist with Essu’s medical expenses but also help ensure that he receives the best possible care and support for a swift and complete recovery.
