A popular Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale who is showing key interest in Ghana politics is calling on Ghanaians to help protect and preserve the peaceful country toiled for by our forefathers from the colonial masters.
In a statement, Shatta Wale said, the Republic of Ghana is a land of peace and no activity of any individual should change its peaceful historical antecedent.
He made the comment when he visited Korlegono, his ancestral home to register for voter’s ID on Thursday 6th August, 2020 to exercise his civic right in the upcoming General Elections.
Shatta Wale also used the opportunity to urge all Ghanaians to register so as to vote in the upcoming 2020 election.
The Dancehall artiste also appealed to the good people of Ghana to maintain peace and must not be used by political parties to cause confusion during this election period.
