Ghana Police Service in an official release has adopted a day in every December as Prophecy Communication Compliance Day.
The Service according to the release has adopted the 27th day of every December in order to observe “Prophecy Communication Compliance Day starting from 2022.
The backdrop of the adoption per the release is about the actions of faith-based groups/communities on 27th December, 2021 where the service drew the attention of the general public, especially members of the religious communities to the law-abiding regarding rampant growth of the communications of illegal prophecies.
During the same area, Ghana Police used the opportunity to encourage compliance with the law to ensure continuous security and law and order in the country.
On declaring the adopted day, they said,
“As part of sustaining the gains made so far, the Police Service has adopted 27th December of each year as the Prophecy Communication Compliance Day.
Furthermore, the Day was explained saying “This day is being set aside to remind all of us, to practice our faith within the confines of the law to ensure a safe, secure environment, free of anxiety generated from predictions of impending harm, danger, or death.”
