Below are some of the comments of Ghanaians reacting to the Wooden footbridge commissioned by Hon. Alfred Oko Vanderpuije.

“How do you put up such wooden bridge and organize a fanfair. Why don’t we do project with durable materials that last longer for generations?

Let’s not celebrate medi0crity in our politicians. We deserve better and we can do better.”

“Is this not just another Ursula floating bridge? We can do better than this please sir. Something more concrete and lasting will do. This one di3rrr a big NO for me”

“Ghana deserves better.

Thisis really mediocrity but let’s not forget that we have had previous government officials who came and neglected that site.
If they had constructed this same wooden structure till date, may be he could have also constructed a metallic bridge or better one aside. In fact this is really mediocrity but I think he might be having a long term plans for it.”
