The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has called on His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), Mr. Prosper Tachie led the leadership of GNAT headquarters and Ashanti Regional Officers to pay a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II (Asantehene) on 13th of October, 2021 at the Manhyia Palace.
Mr Tachie in his presentation said, Teachers are serving Asanteman and mother Ghana and the day being awukudae, they came to pay homage to the golden stool and to serve.
He used the opportunity to express appreciation and thanked Otumfour for giving GNAT a place to use as their Secretariat in Ashanti Region.
He further eulogized His Royal Majesty for His contribution towards the development of Teachers and Education in general.
Mr Tachie, on behalf of the Delegation used the opportunity to invite His Royal Majesty to grace the impending 53rd National Delegates Conference scheduled to take place in January, 2022.
