Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Minister for Education has indicated that, government is committed to introducing bold reforms to deliver 21st century education.

The Minister made this known after attending the 10th graduation ceremony of the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS).

The ceremony was held to graduate a total of 58 students (37 males and 21 females) at the University of Ghana, Legon on June 25, 2022.

Dr Yaw Adutwum in his post indicated that, he commended the Centre President, Dr Prince Osei and his staff for their excellent work in supporting Government to enhance creativity and innovation through Mathematical Science education.

He further indicated that, the Government of Ghana started working with the Institute on the establishment of the Girls STEM Senior High School, which would be affiliated to AIMS Ghana.

The school, which would be constructed near the AIMS Ghana campus at Katamanso is expected to attract talented females from all over Africa whiles nurturing girls with strong foundations in mathematics.
