Government Supports Private Schools Council through NBSSI

On 10th July, 2020, the Government of Ghana in it’s quest to sustain private education in Ghana most especially amidst the covid-19 pandemic has supported the private schools council through the  National Board for Small Scale Industries (NBSSI).

The Executive Director of NBSSI, Mrs. Kosi Yankey-Ayeh led a team to make the donations of office logistics to private schools council to strengthen it’s operations.

Speaking during the donations, Executive Director of NBSSI, Mrs. Kosi Yankey-Ayeh commended the Council for their massive effort throughout this period of pandemic to support private schools.

She also added that, her outfit will continue coordinating with the Council to see to the effective disbursement of the CAP support fund to the Council’s members.

Receiving the support items from the NBSSI, the National Executive Director of the Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS), Mr. Enoch Kwasi Gyetuah on behalf of the council expressed appreciation and added that, the Council is ready to partner with NBSSI for any coordination that will help ensure timely facilitation of the government support to their members . He also assured the government of an effective use of the logistics provided, to the growth of private education in Ghana.
