Gov’t to delete some names from Payroll and it prepares to eliminate Ghost Names

- This information was revealed by the minister of Finance Mr Ken Ofori Atta during a press briefing.
The Government of Ghana under the leadership of President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo is set to remove ghost names from it’s payroll.

Speaking in a press conference, Mr. Ken Ofori Atta who is the Minister in charge of Finance said that Government will delete the names of ‘ghost’ workers from the payroll.
Mr. Ofori-Atta explained that the government is puting measures in place to eliminate persons who are not working but are receiving salaries.
“Government will conclude on-going measures to eliminate ghost” workers from the Government payroll by end December 2022” – the finance minister said during the press conference.
