Hon. Dafeamekpor institutes self-sponsored annual mock for BECE candidates in South Dayi

The Member of Parliament for South Dayi Constituency Hon. Lawyer Rockson Nelson Etse Dafeamekpor has instituted self-sponsored annual mock for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates in his constituency.
The examination titled “South Dayi District Super Mock for BECE candidates” has commenced since 2016 for BECE candidates.
The initiative is sponsored by the Lawmaker in collaboration with the South Dayi District Education Directorate.
Hon. Lawyer Rockson Nelson Etse Dafeamekpor explained that, as part of his support for the improvement of education in the district, he has been carrying out several interventions though he is an opposition MP, notable among them is the full sponsorship of their final Mock each year for all the registered candidates both public and private.
According to him, though things are though as an opposition Memeber of Parliament, the 2022 Mock Exams will start today 4th October, 2022 in all the Forty-one (41) Junior High Schools in the South Dayi District.
He noted that, this final Mock actually put some sort of fire and seriousness in the candidates to study more as they prepare for the BECE.
Aside the Super Mock Examination, Hon. Rockson Nelson Etse Dafeamekpor also distributes mathematical sets to the BECE candidates each exam year.
The MP also launched an annual inter schools maths & science quiz competition to improve education in addition to providing educational infrastructure.
The South Dayi District Examination Officer Mr. Bright Mensah, who is cordinating the examination, in a statement said, the entire Directorate, Students, Teachers and Parents are proud of Hon. Lawyer Rockson Nelson Etse Dafeamekpor for his initiative.
