The Member of Parliament for Gushegu Constituency on the tickets of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who is currently the Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Dr. Ziblim Iddi has announced his intention not to contest in the upcoming NPP Parliamentary primaries for the party any more.
He has also asked the Party executives to delete all information on him including his applications on the ballot papers.

In a letter intercepted by Coverghana.com.gh, Hon. Dr. Ziblim Iddi has served the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, his Regional Chairman, the Chief of Staff and his Campaign Manager on Thursday 4th June, 2020 a letter to withdraw from the contest.
Meanwhile the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a press statement signed by the general secretary Mr. John Boadu, has announced June 20, 2020, to hold its Parliamentary Primaries in the one hundred and sixty-eight (168) Constituencies.
