The Member of Parliament for Central Tongu Honourable Gabby Alexander Hottordze has unveiled his achievements in the Health Sector in his constituency.
Mr. Gabby Hottordze disclosed to the editor-in-chief of Coverghana.com.gh his top achievements and projects in the Sector since he was elected as the Member of Parliament in the 2016 General Elections to date.
The Deputy Ranking Member on Parliament’s Health Committee explained that, he is committed and willing to work assiduously to provide the best healthcare system to support effective and smooth primary healthcare delivery for the people of Central Tongu.
According to him, his office as a Member of Parliament will continue to support Health Institutions in his Constituency so as to provide the needed incentives and resources to augment the services of health workers.
The second term MP, Hon. Alexander Gabby Hottordze has outlined the following as some of his projects in the Central Tongu Constituency.
1. Construction of Clinic at Mafi Gidikpoe
2. Support for Construction of Nurses quarters at Mafi-Avedo
3. Construction of a Centre for Carers of Patients at Adidome District Hospital
4. Construction of a-3 bedroom bungalow for a resident Doctor of Mafi Kumase Health Centre/ Polyclinic
5. Renovation of Adidome-Zongo CHPS
6. Construction of District Medical Stores for Central Tongu District
7. COVID-19 support to District Health Directorate Communities and Decentralized Departments.
8. A-4 day eye screening, supply of glasses, medications and cataract surgery- picture attached
9. COVID-19 PUBLIC EDUCATION to some Communities
10. Donation of Delivery beds to Mafi- Avedo, ADIDOME-Zongo, Mafi-Seva, Mafi-Avedo and Vume-Kpoviadzi and Mafi-Dove
11. Setting up Laboratory for Mafi-Dove
The Central Tongu Member of Parliament Honourable Gabby Alexander Hottordze also lobbied for some latest hospital beds for Mafi-Kumase Health Centre.
Speaking to Coverghana.com.gh, Mr. Gabby Hottordze disclosed that, he has lobbied from Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), known as Hot Vibe Family Entertainment stationed in Adenta
a total of five (5) new hospital beds and two (2) delivery beds were handed over to the management of the hospital through his efforts.
These, according to the MP are some of the projects he has undertaken so far for the people of Central Tongu in the Health Sector.
