Hon. James Gunu donates GH¢10,000 to support surgery of 15-year-old school girl battling with scoliosis

Hon. James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister has made a personal donation of GH¢10,000 to support the surgery of a 15-year-old Basic School girl battling with scoliosis.

On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Hon. Gunu visited Mavis Agbo of Takla Tokor E.P. Basic School, who is battling a severe spinal condition (scoliosis) and made a personal donation of GH¢10,000 to support her surgery and kindly appeal to all well-meaning individuals and institutions to join in helping this brave young girl.

Appealing to the hospital, he said procedure on the girl should commence to as they raise the remaining amount of money, GH¢483,869.

“I am appealing to the hospital to begin the procedure as we work together to raise the remaining amount of GH¢483,869. Her story touched me deeply, and I’m committed to walking this journey with her.”

“Let’s come together and save a life,” Hon. James Gunu called on others to help save the life of Mavis Agbo of Takla Tokor E.P. Basic School.
