Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa embarks on a mission to replace black boards with white marker boards in schools in his beloved constituency.
According to the Member of Parliament, the educational initiative seeks to replace exiting black boards in all public schools with white marker boards in schools in North Tongu of the Volta Region.
On 24th October, 2022, the MP handed over the first tranche of the white marker boards to the North Tongu District Education Directorate and distributed same to some selected schools in the Constituency.
He explained that, the Phase one distribution of the white marker boards covers all Junior High School and Senior High Schools in the District which will be completed in November 2022. Phase two targets all basic schools.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa who is poised for development and support for the education sector noted that, teachers and learners deserve improved, healthier conditions even as locals get more jobs.
The MP took to social media to share photos of this transformative milestone and how he intends to complete what he started.
