Hon. Woyome provides additional accomodation for health workers who were displaced by Akosombo Dam spillage
Member of Parliament for South Tongu Constituency, Honourable Kobena Mensah Woyome, is currently hosting displaced nurses from Richard Novati Catholic Hospital/Comboni Hospital at his residence in the Constituency.
The MP’s gesture is aimed at enabling the health workers to continue providing healthcare services to the people of his beloved South Tongu constituency as the Akosombo Dam spillage continues.

Accompanying the MP on this mission are South Tongu DCE Hon. Seth Agbi, NADMO officials, Health Director, Planning Officer, and security personnel, who are touring all affected areas of the spillage.
Earlier, the Richard Novati Catholic Hospital was temporarily closed down.
Furthermore, the South Tongu Health Directorate of the Ghana Health Service issued a public notice for the urgent collection of bodies at the Comboni mortuary due to the heavy impact of the Akosombo Dam spillage in the area.
