Hon. Kobena Mensah Woyome supports Akpafleto with roofing sheets to roof community shed
Mr. Wisdom Kobena Mensah Woyome, the Honourable Member of Parliament for the South Tongu Constituency has extended his kind gestures towards the people of Akpafleto in the Anaosukope Electoral Area by donating bundles of roofing sheets to roof their community shed.
The Lawmaker, has handed over three (3) bundles of roofing sheets (60 pieces) to the people on Sunday, 13th March, 2022 to enable them roof their community shed.

Mr. Woyome made the donation following a request of 3-bundles of roofing sheets from the leaders of the community to roof the shed.
According to the people, they needed roofing sheets to roof their uncompleted community shed for community meetings, gathering among other activities.
Speaking on behalf of the people, some opinion leaders of the area Mr. Eso Kpoku and Mr. Thomas Kunyehia thanks the MP for his timely interventions by responding to their request.

It’s a great pleasure to the people to have received such kind support from the Member of Parliament.
They explained that, it’s a dream come true for solving yet another problem confronting them.
Mr. Thomas Kunyehia used the opportunity to appeal to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to continue the construction of the abandoned Sokpoe Gbeve Junction through Akpafleto to Dzebenu road and Agave-Asidowui road to help boast their economic activities in the area.

They also appealed to the President and the South Tongu District Assembly for an extension of pipe borne water to the Akpafleto and its neighboring communities.
Akpafleto is a community under Anaosukope Electoral Area, a suburb of Sogakope, in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region. The people of the community are mainly into economic activities such as farming and fishing.
