The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has announced a new way for checking vehicle insurance at home conveniently.

DVLA and the Telecommunication networks via the NIC MID USSD Service have developed a Short Code to assist in checking vehicle insurance without visiting the office.

This service is used by Ghana Police Service to check vehicle insurance. To be free from embarrassment, kindly check your vehicle insurance at home using the Short Code below

REQUIRED DETAILS

• After dialing the above short code, a menu will display asking “Enter Vehicle Registration to, verify”
• Next, proceed by clicking the “SEND” button.

You are all urged to check your vehicle insurance at home before you leave home for the road.

Failure to check will lead you to engage in unacceptable acts with the Police on the road.
