“The team we had, this was the best opportunity. We had a good period of preparation, and my assessment is that we have not done well,” Hughton stated .
Despite the mounting pressure on his position as manager, Hughton reassured the public that he was not contemplating any immediate changes within the coaching staff.
Instead, he expressed a strong desire to rectify the team’s performance and steer them back on the path to success.
“I am not thinking of sacking at the moment. I am angry and frustrated like anyone,” Hughton admitted, acknowledging the emotions shared by the fans. “But my focus is on analyzing and addressing the issues at hand. We owe it to the supporters to improve.”
