Former President John Dramani Mahama has promised to work hard with the next National Democratic Congress government to create enviable jobs for Ghanaians to end their hardship.
As part of the NDC’s plans to create more jobs for the youth, the Leader and Flagbearer of the party said, he will make sure NDC implements an aggressive jobs and entrepreneurial programme in both the public and private sector to alleviate unemployment issues in the country.
According to him, the intervention will make available a total of 250,000 jobs annually from January 7, 2021 to January 7, 2025.
In addition, John Dramani Mahama who was addressing the party members during the outdooring ceremony of the NDC’s Vice Presidential Candidate Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang further disclosed that, by the time his tenure of of ends, he would have delivered a total of 1,000,000 jobs across Ghana.
His statement reads;
“We will implement an aggressive job
and entrepreneurial programme in
the public and private sector; that will
deliver a minimum 250,000 jobs every
year. A total of 1,000,000 jobs across
the country by the end of my term in
office in 2024. We will put Ghanaians
to work to earn a decent living.”
