A Lawyer, Policy Analysts, Consultant, Lecturer and the Vice President of a policy think tank, IMANI Africa, Kofi Bentil, says he will take the Covid-19 vaccine imported to Ghana to help curb the spread of the virus.
Mr. Kofi Bentil in a statement copied to the front deck on Coverghana.com.gh said, he is very confident that the Coronavirus vaccines are safe and necessary to be taken at this crucial moment.
He again said, it is time Ghanaians take a minute of their time to thank God for the leadership which got us first Covax vaccines. According to him, Ghana has issues but we are really a shining city on a hill. Many will give a lot to be us.
His statement came after President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo and the second Lady Samira Bawumia have received the Covid-19 vaccine jab publicly today, Monday 1st March, 2021.
They believe that, the vaccine is safe, and it will help protect us against the impact of COVID-19 on our health. It is also a major catalyst to restoring livelihoods and the national economy to the robust level it belongs
