Akwaboah, who is a highlife/hiplife musician is one of the most talented artiste we have here in Ghana. He is also recognized as one of the best song writers.
In 2016, he was signed to Sarkodie’s Sarkcess Music before both parties mutually parted ways last year. It was believed the pair did not jell as Sarkodie could not bring the best out of Akwaboah.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on GBC Radio Central, Akwaboah was asked if he’ll ever go back to the rapper again for any working relationship.
He answered: “For now, I would like to do so many things on my own rather than going back to be under the Sarkcess Music record label…. So it’s forward ever”
Akwaboah, whose real name is Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr, was signed in 2016 unto Sarkcess Music, a record label owned by BET Award winner Sarkodie but left in 2019 to start his own label, Akwaboah Music.
Nonetheless, Akwaboah is yet to make any headway in his music career despite his huge talent.
