Important information for KNUST 2023/2024 admissions applicants

The Kwame Nkrumah University would like to inform all prospective applicants of certain essential guidelines that must be followed during the admissions process. Please take note of the following instructions:
Examination Slip: Only names that appear on the examination slip(s) will be recognized by the university. Ensure that your name is accurately reflected on the examination slip.
Submission of Documents: Only results and/or documents provided by applicants at the time of submission of the application will be considered. Make sure to include photocopies of your results slips and/or relevant certificates in your application form.
Birth Certificate: Include a certified true copy of your birth certificate with your application. This is a mandatory requirement.
Passport-Size Photograph: Include one passport-size photograph with a light green background. Ensure that the photograph meets the specified requirements.
Proper Input of Examination Details: It is crucial to input examination details, such as your index number and year of exams, correctly and accurately online. Failure to do so may result in the denial of admission.
Transparent Admissions Process: Admissions to all programs of study at the university are administered transparently by the Central Undergraduate Admissions Committee. No other considerations or solicitations will be entertained. Any applicant found engaging in solicitation for the purpose of influencing admission does so at their own risk.
Online Application Process: All applicants are required to complete their application process online through the university’s website at https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions/. Please use the login and pin number provided on the e-voucher for this purpose.
Amendments after WAEC Results: After the release of the WAEC results, the admission portal will be opened for one week. During this period, applicants can make amendments to their names, index numbers, year of examination, and choice of programs.
