Renowned investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has contributed to the trending issue of the failure of the deputy minister of information to justify non existing projects in the National Democratic Congress’ green book.

Prior to the 2016 general elections, the then governing National Democratic Congress, NDC put together a book in which the then Government outlined it’s achievements which is popularly called the Green book.

However, the then opposition New Patriotic Party alleged that, the ‘green book’ is only filled with artistic impressions because the projects don’t exist and the projects listed in the book are only drawings.

On 13th June, 2020 the deputy minister of information Hon. Pius Hadzide was put on the spot on Joy News’ newsfile program to point to one project which is in the green book but does not exist but many viewers were not satisfied with the answer the deputy minister gave and one of such person is Mr. Manasseh Azure Awuni.
