Joyce Bawah Mogtari, the Special Aide to former President John Dramani Mahama has indicated that, it would only take person’s steeped in arrogance, outright disrespect and despotic behaviour to disrespect the former President’s understanding of the law.

Joyce Bawah was reacting to comments made by people believed to be followers and members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), after the former president criticized the ruling of the Supreme Court on whether or not, a Deputy Speakers can vote whiles presiding.

The Supreme Court had earlier ruled that, a Deputy Speaker of Parliament, whiles presiding can vote on matters of the house.
