Joyce Bawah reveals her Covid-19 status and that of John Mahama 

The personal aide of former president, the Leader and the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Joyce Bawah Mogtari has provided clarity on media publications regarding her Covid-19 status and that of H.E John Dramani Mahama.

According to her, all reports circulating on social media for her being tested positive of the novel Coronavirus is not true. She added that, her boss John Dramani Mahama did not test positive of the virus and neither are they on isolation.

Madam Joyce Bawah Mogtari in a statement intercepted by Coverghana.com.gh said, as someone who is determined in fighting stigmatization of persons who have recovered from the Coronavirus, she would have make her Covid-19 status known if tested positive and self-isolation and intensify public education of the  virus.

It’s a lovely Wednesday morning, and there’s still some calm and beautiful air blowing around, thanks to the refreshing and ceiling-shattering news from my boss, John Dramani Mahama.

As for the NPP propaganda all over that I, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, have tested positive for COVID-19 and in isolation, PLEASE IGNORE it.

As someone who has been fighting the stigmatization of recovered persons, I will be the first to announce my status and help in the education and advocacy to reduce the stigma.
